DESCRIPTION:The conference Joint Meeting of PSRS Members and SOLARIS Centr
 e Users (JMSU) is a platform for exchange of knowledge and experience in s
 cientific research using synchrotron radiation and cryogenic electron micr
 oscopy. The meeting has a legacy of the Symposium of Polish Synchrotron Us
 ers (KSUPS) organized from 1991 to 2017. Since 2020 it evolved to an inter
 national event gathering the users of synchrotrons and cryo-electron micro
 scopy facilities worldwide\, including users of SOLARIS Centre and members
  of the Polish Synchrotron Radiation Society. Scientists and engineers me
 et face-to-face at the Jagiellonian University Campus to share results of 
 their recent experiments and to visit research facilities of the SOLARIS C
 entre. The topics of the conference cover all areas of natural and applied
  science\, from physics to biology\, chemistry\, geology\, and engineering
 . The meeting is an opportunity to integrate the community of scientists c
 onducting research at interdisciplinary research facilities\, to exchange 
 ideas for new scientific projects involving the use of synchrotron beamlin
 es and cryo-microscopes\, and to discuss development of infrastructure to 
 ensure the highest level of scientific research conducted at SOLARIS Centr
 e.The didactic aspect of the conference is particularly important for stud
 ents and young scientists\, who want to become users of SOLARIS infrastruc
 ture. Equally important is the opportunity to exchange experiences between
  more advanced users of synchrotron lightsources and cryo-electron microsc
 opy facilities as well as to share these experiences with new or prospecti
 ve users.The program includes invited lectures\, oral contributions and po
 sters presenting results of recent experiments\, technological achievement
 s\, and development trends in using synchrotron radiation and cryogenic el
 ectron microscopy. Conference sessions during day one and two will cover 
 the following topics :Update from SOLARIS Centre and Polish Synchrotron Ra
 diation Society\, information on projects supporting access of Polish scie
 ntists to the ESRF and European XFEL\, on European Synchrotron User Organi
 zation and support of transnational user access such as Nephews\, RIANA\, 
 etc.Cryogenic electron microscopy and structural biology research\, etc.So
 ft matter and biomedical research\, composites\, polymers\, etc.Materials 
 chemistry and engineering\, catalysis\, operando\, energy storage\, etc.Na
 notechnology and quantum materials\, magnetism\, surface science\, etc.Geo
 science\, space science\, environment\, food research\, applied research\,
  etc.Third day of the conference will be focused on CERIC-ERIC on the occa
 sion of the 10th anniversary of Polish membership to CERIC. Two sessions w
 ill cover the review of CERIC facilities and activities\, and results of u
