ESFRI - the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures. It is a strategic instrument used by the European Union to coordinate and support the development of high-quality research infrastructures in Europe, across all scientific disciplines.

ERIC - European Research Infrastructure Consortium. It is a legal framework created by the European Union to establish and operate research infrastructures of European interest. It allows multiple countries to collaboratively fund, manage, and use large-scale scientific facilities under a shared governance model.

LEAPS - League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources. It is a strategic alliance of 19 synchrotron and free-electron laser (FEL) facilities across 10 European countries. These facilities produce extremely bright beams of X-rays and other photon types, used to probe matter at the atomic and molecular level.
